I see you Momma.
I see you struggling, I see it in your eyes. But you’re holding back the tears
I see you trying, trying your very best. Yet you still don’t feel it’s good enough.
I see you figuring out how to balance motherhood, being a partner & finding yourself amongst the long nights, tantrums and diaper changes.
I see you longing, longing for some quiet, for just a bit of time alone.
I see you loving, loving with all you’ve got.
I see you, putting yourself last, when all you want is someone else to put you first.
I see you crumble, when you just can’t be strong anymore.
I see you wish for being better, and hate yourself when you don’t live up to it.
I see you, shocked, how it can all be just so much, when you really thought it would be different.
I see you.
I see you.
I see you.
I see me, right there with you, through it all. Feeling it ALL. All the time. All the ups. All the downs. The joys. The tears. The triumph. And the fails.
I see you, because I am you. We are all connected in this sisterhood. This journey through the toughest, most trying hike up hill.
And I see you emerge from the dark, and into the light of a new day.
I see you Momma. I see you.
poignantly heart-felt and the writing moves me deeply
